There is only a difference of the word ‘A’ in ‘Safalta’ (success) and ‘Asafalta’ (failure). ‘Anant’ is an interesting Hindi word. It means that there is no limit to achieving success. That is why you should not tie success to an age limit. There are many people in the world who have achieved success in the later stages of their age. This blog is a medium to showcase that there is no age to achieve success!

There are many successful people in the world who pursued a particular job during their young age and eventually changed their career path after the age of 50.

Following your passion and making your dream come to reality isn’t bound by age.

All you need is to find the hidden ambition within yourself and do the required amount of hard work and eventually, your struggle will take you to the correct path of success. Success is not bound by age but it requires courage. The courage to take on something new and execute your ideas.

When the first mobile phone came in 1979, who thought that, in a few decades, the beautiful toy in the pocket of the world’s rich people would be in the pocket of more than half of the world’s population. But, the reality is in front of everyone. The person who invented it was 70 years old.

The idea of choosing the right career

Life can change at any time. Just think about the director whose first film is being released at the age of 48. He never thought that he would direct films and let it explode in the entertainment world.

Here comes R. Martin’s example, Games of Thrones, that tells a similar story. Or Julia Child, who never taught cooking until she saw 30 springs in her youth and was overwhelmed by writing a cookery book at the age of 50!

See, there is no age to achieve success? The stories are many, take Bollywood artist Boman Irani, who worked as a photographer and waiter for 40 years, at the age of 44 before Munnabhai MBBS became a star in the film industry.

Let us tell you about the lives of some such brilliant people who the world saluted for what they did after the age of 40. Their success story is very exciting and beautiful. It tells that success does not see age. It sees the Idea, the Insistence and Passion to do something different.

School institutions and colleges might give you the knowledge to pursue your profession but you have to work on yourself to realize your inbuilt talent and find out your creativity. Your personal skills and energy can flourish at any point in your life, be it at a young age or even after having two grandchildren. All you need is the correct motivation to acknowledge your dreams and change the world.

There are so many examples, be it the entertainment industry, politics or even the entrepreneur’s who have achieved the biggest milestones in their lives at the age in which people think of retirement.

Here are some amazing personalities who have proved that age can never be a barrier when it comes to following your passions-

Every time we felt like having junk, the best spot was always McD. Not just for the children but also for older people.

Who knew that this man would introduce such a brand. One that would become an integral part of the fast-food industry.

Colonel Sanders – KFC

Colonel Sanders’ real name was Harland David Sanders. Colonel Sanders did not receive the title of Colonel from the Army.

Donald Fisher

Well, it is rightly said that there is a woman behind every successful man.

“Donald Fisher” a very known personality, was 40 and had no experience in retail. He, along with his wife, Doris, opened the first Gap store in San Francisco in 1969.

Today that company is one of the world’s largest clothing chains as the clothes that were sold in the store quickly became fashionable.

Then, he founded the Mori Building Company. His knowledge and his brilliant investments made him the richest man in the world in the year 1992. He had a net worth of $13 billion.

Laura Ingalls Wilders

Laura Ingalls Wilders spent her later years in writing semi-autobiographical stories using her, well-educated daughter, Rose, as an editor.

She published her first book “Little House”  at age 65 in 1932. Unbelievable, right?? They soon became children’s literary classics and later the basis for the TV show “Little House on the Prairie.”

Arianna Huffington

Then later the success of her digital media publication made her a household name. HuffPost later sold to AOL for $315 million.

These were a few known examples of people who have achieved the biggest milestones in unconventional age. Ages at which we can’t even imagine to work. So, even if you have crossed the age of 40, 50 or even 60, remember that maybe you’re not ready to retire now. Your current career might not do it for you anymore. Interests change, skills change and so do goals.

But never fear! In case there is the inhibition or lack of confidence, watch a few Movies for Motivation.

You don’t need to stay in a job you are no longer passionate about. You are not forced to work on something that doesn’t excite you anymore because age is just a number. There is no age to achieve success!
